Alan Thicke was born on 1 March 1947 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. He was an actor and writer, known for Growing Pains (1985), Raising Helen (2004) and The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009). He was married to Tanya Callau, Gina Marie Tolleson and Gloria Loring. He died on 13 December 2016 in Burbank, California, USA.- Michael Hogan, a prospector's son, was born in Northern Ontario. He trained at the National Theatre School of Canada, where he met his future wife, actress Susan Hogan (nee King). They worked as a package until their their children, Jennie Rebecca Hogan (actress), Gabriel Hogan (actor), and Charlie Hogan (audience member), came along.
Over the years, Hogan has appeared in countless plays, films, TV series, and radio dramas, and even an opera.
Some of his favorite feature film experiences include Clearcut (1991), with his good friend, Graham Greene, shot in the bush north of Lake Superior Road to Saddle River, shot in the Badlands of Alberta; Klondike Fever (1979), with Rod Steiger, Lorne Greene, Angie Dickinson and Gordon Pinsent, shot in and around Barkerville, B.C. in the winter; A Simple Curve (2005), shot in Slocan Valley, B.C. His most rewarding television experiences include his work on Jake and the Kid (1995), Monk (2002), African Skies (1992), Dead Man's Gun (1997), Lifeline to Victory (1993), Nights Below Station Street (1997), _Secret in Giving (1999) (TV) (aka "Calico Christmas"), _For Those Who Hunt The Wounded Down (1996) (TV)_ and, of course, his all-time favorite, Battlestar Galactica (2004).
Among his numerous live theater performances are the title role in "Cowboy King", performed on horseback at the Caravan Farm Theatre in the interior of B.C.; "Biff Loman" in "Death of a Salesman", then 19 years later, "Willy Loman" in the same play; "Red Mango Blues", a one-man show (with guitar virtuoso Harris Van Berkel), written by poet/playwright Charles Tidler; and "Petruchio" in "Taming of the Shrew", with wife Susan Hogan as "Kate".
Hogan has performed on several radio shows, including "Pocket City Blues", a radio series about a blues DJ who stumbles into a different crime every week. Hogan's distinctive voice has also been heard over CBC Radio as the narrator of many books, poems, and short stories. His award nominations are numerous and include a Blizzard Award for Best Leading Actor (feature length) for his role in Nights Below Station Street (1997), from Manitoba Film; and a Genie for Best Supporting Actor (feature length) in Solitaire (1991).

Michael Mahonen was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada, gold mining town in Northern Ontario. He graduated from George Brown Theatre School in 1989. In 2004 he wrote, directed and co-produced "Sandstorm" a feature based on the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Sandstorm won 29 awards including 11 for Best Feature or Best of Festival as well as awards for Best Director, Best First Feature and Best Actress. Seven of the awards are among the festivals listed on IMDB's specific list of certified festivals, although attempts to update the listed number have not been successful.

- Ken Barton has been acting since the age of 17. He appeared in shows such as Legend of Kung Fu and Street Legal. He began his career at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in 1994. He was there until 2004. Ken has been active in the film community in the DGC, as a locations personnel, as a full ACTRA member, and IATSE 873, as a set dec, props, and greens. Since 2005, he has been an active member of the Knights of Valour, the Canadian full contact jousting team. He has achieved the rank of 4th in the world as a full contact jouster.
Ken is a family man. He has a wife by the name of McKayla, a son, Logan, and the most recent addition to his family, his daughter Fae, whom is under a year old. Ken's 8 year old son, whom does background work from time to time, and is interested in following in his father's footsteps into the world of acting. He would like to see both of his wonderful children take a step into the world of acting.

Joe Ring was born in the Northern Ontario mining town of Kirkland Lake. His father was Irish and his mother was Italian and was one 10 children. He grew up in this small town and lived a life like Tom Sawyer where fishing was the norm after school. His first career was when he became a plumber and worked at that for a number of years before venturing into the construction business. After years at that a severe accident left him bankrupt, divorced and recovering for a few years. After recovering he went to the Northern Alberta oil fields to work. While living in the resort community of Sylvan, he opened a Bed & Breakfast and a Limousine service company. In 2003, he began to work in film in Calgary. In the summer of 2003, he sold his house and the B&B, along with the Limousine business and left his job in the oil fields and headed to Calgary to pursue his dreams of being in the movies. He enrolled in acting classes at the Canadian Casting Center and found work in 3 movies. His first film was a bit part in a scene with Don Johnson in Word of Honor, then "Family Sins" with Kristy Alley. After a summer in Calgary he relocated to Toronto where he split his time between construction and acting/modeling. In the winter of 2004 he went to Los Angele's to continue work in film. His first film was, No Rules, with Pamela Anderson and Tom Sizemore and directed by Gerry Anderson. More recently he has completed a lead role in a reality movie, All That I Need (2005), which will be making it's theatrical release on December 2005. He is presently in Toronto and recently appeared on the CBC program me The Hour , with George Stroumboloupolous and a lead roll in Curious and Unusual Deaths which is a series on The Discovery Channel.
